[Role Overview]

A leading Japanese IT company is seeking a motivated Digital Transformation Program Lead to manage digital transformation initiatives and support client growth. This role is responsible for planning and delivering technology-driven projects that improve operations, modernize business processes, and enhance customer experience.


Primary Focus: Deliver digital transformation programs

Secondary Focus: Support business development and client growth initiatives


This position offers hands-on project leadership, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to grow into larger transformation responsibilities.

[Key Responsibilities]

1. Program & Project Management (Primary Focus)

- Lead delivery of digital transformation projects from planning through execution

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resources

- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and project execution

- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies

- Track progress and provide regular project status updates

- Support implementation and adoption of digital platforms and process improvements

2. Client Engagement

- Act as primary project contact for assigned clients

- Build positive working relationships with client stakeholders

- Participate in regular onsite engagement in the Los Angeles area

- Help translate business needs into clear project plans

3. Business Development Support (Secondary Focus)

- Support identification of new project opportunities within new/existing accounts

- Contribute to solution definition and proposal development

- Assist sales and delivery teams during pre-sales activities

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain project documentation and reporting artifacts

- Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

[Qualifications]

- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, digital delivery, or technology consulting

- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency

- Understanding of software development lifecycles and digital platforms

- Experience managing cross-functional project teams

- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

[Preferred Qualifications]

- Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)

- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches

- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per year
